FS: 1968 Rolex Submariner 5513 Meters First
Offered for sale is my Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 Meters First dial. 1.7 million serial indicates approximately 1968 production.
The lume plots have aged to beautiful yellow patina and are still intact. Originally hands are paired very nicely and have aged to a slightly lighter shade. Domed acrylic crystal is in very nice condition. Bezel insert is a service insert and is missing it’s pip. Case has been polished in the past and shows light wear throughout. The reference number has been mostly worn off, and serial number has been re-engraved. Watch comes on a 9315 folded link oyster with 9.5 links and 380 ends. Flip lock clasp has a ‘72 date code. Overall a beautifully patina’d Meters First 5513 on a vintage folded link oyster! Offered at $14,000 shipped fully insured overnight in the US, payment by bank wire preferred.
