Was very lucky with a pickup last week! Tudor Black Bay Chrono Panda dial

I’ve been itching for the white black bay Chrono since it came out. Last week I decided to check my local AD for availability and see what the waitlist was like. They said they had just gotten one in and had just put it in the case. I asked if they’d still have it by Thursday as I’d be in the area then, and they actually offered to hold it for me. So Thursday I went in and checked it out. They remembered me from getting my heritage Chrono serviced a few months back. I was told they have had it for 3-4 weeks but haven’t put it out because they didn’t want a reseller to buy it as many people call for them every day. I’m not sure if they were being honest about that or just trying to make me feel special. Whatever the case, I couldn’t not get it. It looks great, it compliments the heritage Chrono as something else to wear, particularly for dressier occasions.

I hate to say but my submariner is getting the shaft to my tudors. They’re producing some amazing watches.

Great looking chrono, especially on that strap.

You got it without the bracelet? It's not selling much over retail in grey market. Not sure why folks are waiting so long. But congrats none the less!

Congrats! Love this watch.

Would like to see a photo of it alongside your heritage chrono as well if you have one, I love those.

No, it came with the leather strap. I like the look of it but its a little too bulky for me on the underside. Im used to a Nato, so I switched it out after wearing the original leather one for a few days.

That's my favourite version of the heritage chrono!

Definitely one I'm considering picking up in the future (if they don't discontinue it!)

My store says they haven't been getting as many in. I'm wondering if they are phasing it out because of the popularity of the joint Breitling movement.

I'm not one for usually following discontinuation rumours, but you rarely see them here now either - and with most of the range moving away from the ETA movements you've got to wonder whether it would be updated or discontinued. I can't see them updating it - but could be wrong.

A little thinner and I'd prefer it over the daytona.

interesting you say that. My AD also sells Tudor and while picking up my watch,i asked her how tudor was doing and she mentioned they havent seen many chronos in awhile and that apparently Tudor informed them there are delays because of the Breitling movement. She got the impression Breitling is either not producing many or limiting what they are sending Tudor.

I was referring to the Heritage Chrono with the ETA movement, not the BB Chrono. Apologies for the confusion!

Currently the "REAL REAL" is advertising both the Panda and a Blue Heritage Chrono. Heritage was Tudor serviced in 2021....(I happen to know original owner of both pieces.....)
