My first...and very impressed. Love to see your Carl F. Bucherer

Don't see a lot of Carl F. Bucherer around and that might be why they've never been on my radar.

Walked into a large AD who had just about everything but Rolex and out of everything...Omega, IWC, Breitling, Tudor JLC, Chopard and more... this had to go home with me. Heritage BiCompax Annual Calendar

I haven't been able to take it off.

Thanks. It knocked me over when I saw it. A lot of watch and couldn't believe the discount.

I agree a great mostly unknown brand, at least here in US. I tired one a few years ago, for like 30 off. It was a 44 chrono and a bit too big for me

I think I tried similar ones on 4 or 5 years ago and I remember it being large. 44mm is a no go for me so I completely forgot about the brand. 7 1/4" wrist and I only reluctantly wear a 42mm.

Seems they are a lot more popular in Europe and Asia from what I'm seeing...but that's ok by me! Nothing worse than seeing 5 people sitting near you with a Submariner on. LOL that's why I never wear mine.

HA! Without the price!

Although modeled after one of their older 1950's BiCompax with the addition of the big date it could be mistaken from far, far far away.

Looked at that watch last year, great timepiece.

I have my Speedmaster but did like the Bucherer

I'll never sell my LMOTM Speedie but...its going to get no wrist time for quite awhile.

For me an absolute classic everyone should own but doesn’t hold a candle to the Bucherer…in my eyes.

Philippe Dufour himself has been spotted around town wearing the Bucherer Blue version of this watch this summer.

14.15 which for a Chronograph Annual Calendar ain't bad...there are 3 hander divers that are 15mm + which makes no sense to me b/c the movement doesn't need that much case.

Thoughts?

If that isn't a testimony I don't know what is!

Wandered into a jewelry store in St Armand's Circle in Sarasota and bought it on the spot- actaully had it sized and wore it out of the store, my wife had to remind me to grab my Submariner laying on the glass case as we walked out.

4 year in and still wear this quite frequently- Lots of "Nice watch- what is it" when I travel. Just grabbed a blue and black rubber strap for it last week and need to stop by the AD to have it swapped out for summer.

Looks great on your wrist! Got to have "wrist" to wear that one!
That is a beast of a diver.

Yes it's a big boy watch for sure- yet wears really well. I've had some really big divers that I hated on the wrist, but this one feels good as a daily driver.

Huh, I wandered into a store in Vienna just two weeks ago

right smack in the middle of downtown and asked if they had any Rolexes. Nope. Saw some Carl Bucherers. Always liked the Scubatec but did not see any. I asked the manager who was dressed up in an Italian suit if he had any more and he said he had something that might interest me. He went upstairs and came down with this. After we negotiated a price he offered my wife and her friend glasses of Champagne (or water, coffee, tea) which they were happy to accept while he ran the paperwork and sized my watch. Got a tax refund at VIE. Quite the experience. A very chique watch salon. I prefer the blue rubber band on this watch and it is quite comfortable. The clasp mechanism is more elaborate, sturdy, and comfortable than the bracelet on my 2021 Rolex Batman.
I bought it knowing full well that unlike my Batman the value has dropped by 60% just wearing it out the door. Don't care. I like it a lot and swam with it in Lake Ohrid Macedonia (but opted to take it off swimming in the Aegean Sea later that week).

Looks great. So many people buy watches for the wrong reasons. You bought it for the right one...you like it.

I got over a 30% discount on the Heritage BiCompax but I was pretty close to buying it with much less a discount...but that discount well...made it a no-brainer.

Since I bought it it has gotten 80% of my wrist time.
