Official Zenith Watches Thread!

Hi all,

I had a quick search for one and could not find one. Given the increasing popularity of the brand it would be nice to have a dedicated thread for Zenith watches photos and discussion.

I will start by sharing my fantastic Defy Classic in Titanium. Look forward to seeing yours! Please feel free to share.

I like the Chronomaster Sport. More available than the Rolex chrono.

My 1969 with two recent acquisitions - A384 and Liberty Revival on ladder bracelets. The revival series is on par with Datejust in terms of comfort. Fantastic watches.

Zenith Defy El Primero 21

Hi All,

Rather than start a new thread, I figured I would jump straight the official Zenith thread.

I recently purchased a Defy El Primero 21 (49.9000.9004/78.R582) and by recently, I mean within the hour! Buyer's shock is still in full effect as I am asking myself the usual "What have I done!? Was it smart? Is this the right watch? What if...?"

In any case, it should be here tomorrow and I have been eyeing this particular watch for some time now. Speaking of "case"...I do have a question that I am hoping some other knowledgeable Zenith owners can help with...

As you can tell by the ref number, I went with the black ceramic on an alligator strap. My biggest fear now is around the ceramic case. We have all heard the horror stories of cracked/shattered ceramics, but I was wondering how legitimate the concerns are with Zenith's Defy 21?

Granted, the watch should be handled with care, but in my mind I am envisioning the case to be as fragile as glass. Can others share their experience thus far?

Thank you in advance!

Hi guys, looking to buy the Zenith Defy Skeleton dial on bracelet in Houston, TX. Any lead on where to purchase, price, discounts and availability etc will be appreciated. Been waiting for a GMT Master II forever and I have decided that this watch will do me some real good pending whenever my AD deems me worthy to be called up for the Rolex.

Thanks guys

my collection so far :

JTG79 I have recently bought the Defy El Primero 21 (49.9000.9004/78.R582.

You won't go wrong with it and to be honest as long as you don't knock it hard you will be ok. the ceramic case is really designed to avoid hairline scratches etc

Wear it in good health sir as it a truly awesome watch

Hi buddy I have the exact same watch. I would say it is designed to be resistant to scratches such as hairline scratches etc if you were to drop it on a hard surface then it then may be an issue. Although it is ceramic are used to watch when I am only doing light duties or going out:-)

Hi there mate. I bought the defy skeleton titanium in the Uk with a 18% discount around 18 months ago. It took a little time and went into the store to have a look first and build rapport with the sales person. Once they know who you are you can then get a discount as they know you won’t shop the world :-)

Wonderful to have a Zenith thread here. Here's my Chronomaster Final Edition. Love it to the point that it's basically become my daily.
