I did it, I finally did it, something nobody would have expected…
Bought a Timex!
Always liked some of the homage watches they did, and the fact that they had relatively inexpensive watches with manual wind movements. But $200 for a Timex just seemed excessive. Always liked the Marlin, too, but only had 3ATM WR. |

No timegrapher. But using a phone app, it runs about +23.1/day the first couple days. Won’t be a daily wearer, and won’t wind every day, so should be alright with that. I seem to recall that Grady mentioned his Marlin ran similar and I believe movement is the same.
