YG DayDate 40 Alternatives? Santos? Others?

I don't have any YG watches and would really like to add one back in to the collection.

I had a 18238 DD 36 for a few years and loved it, but it was a little small, so moved it out of the collection. I'd love to get a DD40 (green dial would be the ultimate, but that's not going to happen) perhaps the black diagonal motif, but, as we all know, we can't just walk into the store and buy one - and that frustrates the hell out of me.

Last night, at the Cartier boutique, I saw the 18K YG Santos and was blown away with it - how heavy it is, the look, feel, etc. I love that I can swap the bracelet for the strap, etc. and also the fact that it's not just another round dial watch.

The only thing that I really dislike is that the only dial option is white and I really am not crazy about a white dial against a YG watch.

For those of us who want a YG watch (including bracelet), are there any other good options to consider? What would you look at other than the DD?

Good DD substitutes are hard to find for similar money.

The recent releases 222, 16202BA and moonshine gold green dial are those YG that really interest me. They are stunners.

i don't think you would have too much trouble getting a non green dial from an AD this year

Don’t think you will find a more comfortable gold substitute than the president bracelet. I’ve tried quite a few, but none of them are as comfortable (Certainly livable).

Dude...I tried on a rose gold Santos and ALMOST pulled the trigger. Waiting for YG DD40 but because I'll be waiting a while I'm considering a YG or RG Santos...but will i regret it is the question.
By regret I mean regret I didn't wait even though i found the Santos PM was beautiful....
