Laurent Ferrier Classic Traveller Meteorite. Limited to 15 Pieces.
Really wanting this watch. The meteorite dial looks outstanding. I’ve never seen the Traveller LF’s before in-person. What does everyone think about the new release?

Frankly, they are better in person than in the pics. Hard to capture the focus on detail and the angels in particular for this watch. I say get one if you can!

Looks ok.
No half hour increments for the GMT adjustment?

I don’t really favor the dial side on this particular LF which is uncommon because I generally find them excellent. Not a fan of the way the travel time is presented and also the sub seconds seems ever so slightly undersized.

Very cool piece, I don't mind the small seconds. So home time at nine? Pushers at ten and eight move the local time back or forth with one hour increments?

The watch is a bit on the thick side for me, relative to its' diameter. I prefer the proportions of the regular Galet Micro-Rotor over those of the Traveler. This variant uses the white frosted hand set. It is highly legible, but I think the hands lose some of the nuance of the polished gold versions. If you like hands that reflect light in interesting ways, which these Assegai hands can do when polished due to their curvature, a version with the polished hands is better. YMMV. |

Looks reeeeeally nice.
Alas, pretty much tapped-out for 2022 and into Q2 2023 at the moment as waiting on three timepieces to be produced.
