Old rose gold lady Rolex , '40 or '50's
A friend has this old rose gold lady Rolex. Would anyone know the correct year of manufacture ? Any idea on value ? He is interested in selling. It is an inheritance. No box or papers, just the watch. It is real and authenticated at a Rolex AD (who thinks it is from the late '40's), took the pictures when they checked it out.
The watch has just been serviced by a independent watchmaker who specializes in old movements. Never saw such a model. Looks kind of art nouveau, what do the experts think ?

no expert here, but i guess the movement comes from a 40's line.
cal 7 u ref 150? art nouveau it isn't. watch is way past that period. company got named in 1908 but it's your watch, you can say whatever you want! with respect to the value of an inheritance, the value WILL vary from buyer to buyer with that said you can always get gold plus the movement respectfully |
