Water Resistance Test
Hello! If I have serviced a watch on which a pressure test was done and the cover was then closed, if the back cover is opened again to check a part, and after closing the cover again, the pressure test does it have to be done again?

It's really a matter of personal preference. If the case was opened and closed by a professional, and the case-back seal was new and lubricated, then it's unlikely anything has changed. On the other hand, it would be easy enough to do a dry test, so why not.

Agree with Dan
…and adding if the person who closes up the caseback uses the correct torque… Plus, if you don’t have a dry test apparatus, suggest getting one if you open up watches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I would say get it tested. It is cheap and should be easy enough to get it done.

You can't test it before it's closed, that wouldn't do anything for you. If it has been opened and reclosed, you will need to test again if you want to be assured that nothing is amiss.
