Tissot PRX

Sometimes it's refreshing to step back and appreciate what you can get for a fraction of the price of a Rolex. Particularly in the current times with the new crowd that only cares about resale, investment watches, plastic coverings for their Rolex, and whatever other nonsense is on their minds these days.

Picked this up the other day and I don't think I've ever been this impressed by a ~600 watch. Case and bracelet polishing is done really well. The bracelet itself is fantastic. Maybe some micro adjustment would have been nice, but can't complain for the price.

The most shocking thing is the accuracy. I synced it Monday night and as of today, Thursday, it has lost one second. That's amazing. Yes, I understand that all movements can be regulated and all that stuff, but out of the box this is as good as my DJ41 or any other mechanical watch I've ever owned.

They really have something special with this model.

Great watch! I was eyeing the chronograph but it looks like it wears a little big from the videos I have seen.

I will be taking a look at the blue face kinda has an AP look to it

And don’t forget the 80 hours of power reserve. The bracelet does have half links to make the fit better. GREAT VALUE! Insane value. Swiss auto movement, great power reserve, great finishing, great detail in the dial. This should be over $1000 easy. I thought it was when I tried it on and looked at the price tag. When I saw $650, I said immediately “I’ll take it!” I thought maybe they made a mistake.

Reminds me of the Rolex 17000 so much. I wish Rolex would re-release the 17000 series in 40mm

I brought the green dial and couldn't agree more on the "bang for buck" value on this watch. Love it.

I can't wait until they release a gold version Powermatic 80....!!!

It's a fantastic watch, I really like what they've done with these. Tissot is one of those brands that also made some super cool pieces in the 70s, I'm sure other eras as well, but that one stands out to me most.

Enjoy in good health!

I bought the chronograph a couple of months ago when I found it for 25% off at a watch shop in Canada. I love most everything about it EXCEPT the wide release mechanism for the bracelet. Not sure what it is about it, but, it cuts into my skin. Other than that, It's a stunning watch and, for the price, you can't go wrong!
