notification when someone quotes you
Is there a setting, perhaps a box to check, somewhere in the user profile, to receive some notification when someone quotes \ responds to my posts?
I have received emails a few times notifying me, but only rarely. Would prefer notification when I log into this site. Thank you!

You can subscribe to any thread using the Thread Tools menu drop-down. This notifies you of any action within the thread.
You can use your CP Edit Options menu and check the box to automatically subscribe to Threads that either you start, or that you post in. There is no tool for subscribing to individual posts

Tapatalk has notification setting. But they don't seem to work either.

Thanks for that tip. I may have found a fix in their support forums. Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem. This problem seems quite widespread.
