Crisp 6265, almost NOS. One plot fluked¿?
Hi everyone,
Got this beautiful 6265 super clean and crisp. But.....lume plot #9 is missing some of it. How can this be? And why on Daytonas of this era 6 and 9 lume plots are the ones that always (at least most of the time) seem to be missing? During service? Could be. But most of the time are these two. And look at this one. Could be classified as mint, never used....but one lume is missing some of it mass. Do these fall easily? |

Yup, old lume can be delicate, and it seems common on these Daytonas. Possibly the size and shape of the lume dots made them particularly fragile.
