Help authenticating Tudor Submariner

Hi,

I bought a TUDOR 9411/0 for a good price in an online auction in Japan. This is my first Tudor so i am not familiar with this watch, can you please let me know if you think some parts are not original?
I understand the movement probably needs quite a bit of work... Also the bezel and lume dot don't seem to be right if you can confirm.

Thanks,

Philippe

Linesiders will know, bezel seems off, but other than not confidant to call one way or another.

This watch has a catalogue of issues. You might want to look into getting your money back.

Send it in for movement service and get the bezel replaced, enjoy the watch.

Not sure what’s going on here but the serial number looks off and what’s the bracelet number? I can’t quite make it out in the pics but it doesn’t look like any bracelet I’ve ever seen on a 9411/0. It almost looks smaller like a ladies bracelet. Do you have any pics of the other side which should show 9411/0?

I guess you realize by now it's a 'no go'.
Refund required...
Hope you can....

Definitely not swiss-made. But at least they almost got the numbers on the case right, this time. Everything else, not so much. The auctioneers should have noticed a few of the many red flags, I‘d say.

There are a lot of fake Tudor subs on yahoo.jp. I'd not take the risk of buying one from Japan.

Another I paid good money for a watch...and ask after the fact if it is real...and somehow have made our way to this forum AFTER the purchase and did no research before...and here before everyone is the first post.

Yeah. Ok.

Unfortunately if you won this on yahoo Japan using a proxy bidding surface like Buyee or FromJapan you just flushed your money down the toilet. No refunds are available even for counterfeit items. They will not even contact the seller or leave negative feedback for you. Ask me how I know. You need to be careful and do your research in advance.

For some reason there are tons of fake Tudor Subs on YJ.

We need to see these before you pull the trigger. Not trying to be rude. Not much we can do now.

Either way, he hasn't responded since his first post, so not too much point in continuing this thread.

Not starting from a strong spot : )

And those are just the easy things, the baseline used fakers is better.
