Watch Rapport

Has anybody dealt with Watch Rapport and are they legit? I found a watch on their website that I liked and called them. They said that all transactions and authenticity of watch sales are guaranteed. The biggest problem I have is that they said it would be around 4 weeks before I would get the watch. Said it takes awhile to check it out to make sure its a legit piece. Red Flag?

Full disclosure - I've never dealt with them first hand but in reading enough stuff it seems they post watches they don't have and hold your funds "until" they get them. May take months or years as I understand it as some of their watches are clearly incredibly tough to find at retail.

They don't have the watch, and have to source it. The picture you are seeing is not the watch you will receive. At least that's what it sounds like to me.

They steal photos from my website and list my watches there for 10-20% less. They use my photos without authorization to attract buyers. They do not have a single watch in hand. Their prices are not up to date with the market. You place the order, they take your money and if they can't source it they will hold it for an indefinite amount of months until the market price comes down and they are able to source the watch and fill the order.

Good luck trying to cancel. They will give you all kinds of excuses to prevent you from getting a refund.

Stay away!
