1987 Sub Date bracelet end link compatibility & general bracelet age range Qs..
Hi Subbies...
I have a 1987ish (S/N 942xxxx) stainless Sub Date with oyster I acquired it in 93-94. Very happy with it. However, I'm a big guy & at max clasp adjustment, so it appears I need to add an extra end link (i.e, at the end meeting the clasp assembly). I can get factory end links in good shape from reliable sources, but:
Thanks- Bill Wiese San Jose CA |

What bracelet do you have, a 93150? If so, it will be easy to find extra links. I would try to find links for a similar bracelet, not the modern one. You can buy them on eBay, or you might even be able to get them from an AD.
Anyway, the thing to focus on is the type of bracelet, not so much the production date of the watch. Look closely at your bracelet and figure out what you have.

It's stamped on last link before the end link eg 93150 and also one one of the clasp blades too.

Did you ask the jeweler to get you a link? If they are a Rolex AD, they can probably get one from the factory.
