paperwork numbers?
hi all, the paperwork that came with my 1680 has dates on it that correspond with the serial numbers but can anybody tell me what these penned in "montre numbers" on the top right hand corner refer to 15J 830/73 ? thanks in advance matt

Often there is a typed in number above the punched number in the upper right corner. This number would be your model number which indicates the type of watch and the band it left Rolex with.
The numbers you posted, 15J 830/73 have me stumped.

If they're penned in they are likely from the original Dealer who received the watch..
Could be an in-house date or time received code for use by the sales staff...
