Bought a pre-owned from Overstock.com
I bought my husband a pre-owned submariner from Overstock.com. It came with a one year warranty on the inner watch movement only. I had an authorized rolex dealer confirm it is real. I was told that it was made in 1995.
Given its age, and not having any original paperwork, I worry that it may need serviced. Overstock says it is refurbished, but I don't know what that means. Since Overstock has warrantied the inner watch movement for one year, would you have it serviced now or wait until the warranty expires? |

Very nice of you!
There are two sides to your question on the Forums as you'll find out as soon as others start chiming in. To answer your question - I would. My opinion is, regardless of the 1 yr movement warranty and "refurbishing" having a service done on a 10 yr old timepiece would offer peace of mind as well as paperwork and a starting point.
