You realize we're both saying the same thing? In my method one goes through a long drawn out calculus, realizes there's little to no hope, then buys Grey.
In your method one goes to the AD, speaks to an SA, gets the "no" and then goes Grey.
The downside to my method is the amount of time necessary to educate oneself to the point where one realizes it's hopeless (without AI).
The downside to your method is that the SA may not be honest and one gets led along.
