Thin Font on the word "Daytona" White dial

I purchased this watch at the beginning of June 2023, months after it was discontinued, from an AD who received it by surprise from Rolex, as I was getting fit for it he activated the warranty and took the stickers off. He mentioned that the word "Daytona" on the dial looked slightly faded from what he was used to seeing. Not a problem for me. Then, under a10X loupe, I discovered it wasn't faded but thin line font. Does anyone else have one like this? or have seen one? https://imgur.com/a/qJ6yRvB

Dial printing blemishes and inconsistencies happen sometimes unfortunately. Side-effect of mass production, and human QC processes.

Looks normal to me, not that thin. Angle might make it look thin but normal or very close to normal.

Afraid loupes can be a Rolex watch owners worst enemy throw it away and just enjoy wearing your watch in good health that's more important.

Thin Font on the word "Daytona" White dial

I’ll join in by saying how rarely I see the red Daytona text on my watch and to say yours looks fine to me.

I’d hate to see up close all the recent scratches I’ve added to my watch, picked up during the last 2 weeks holidaying in Tenerife. Thankfully the lack of sunlight here in the UK helps keep them hidden!

Wear your lovely new watch in the best of health

If it is actually faded (I can’t tell, looks exactly like mine) don’t sweat it. 10 years down the line you can call it an “error dial” and sell it for more money lol

The red Daytona text shows up more in pictures than in real life. It’s pretty tiny.

Looks like every Daytona I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned a few. 520’s, 523’s, 500’s, 515’s.

Hopefully a 506 one day soon

Oh no, I think OP has just given the Gray market dealers a reason to charge even more outrageous prices for the SS Daytonas!

Your zoom is far better than my eyes, but it does look a little thinner than the text on my black dial Daytona on my wrist…. I am sitting on the porch, and it’s low light, and I’m really squinting at it. But maybe
