Seamaster 75th Anniversary AD availability

Has anybody heard anything about when the 75th anniversary models will make their way to ADs? So far everything I’ve seen come in has been from Omega boutiques but I haven’t heard anything about this release being a boutique exclusive piece.

Welcome to the forum (as a n00b myself).

I know an AD in LA that expects some stock this month. I suppose time will tell if that happens.

My local boutique on the other side of the world (AUS) has them all on exhibition except the Ploprof. All allegedly expression of interest - which seems to be the way of the world…

Doesn’t seem to be too much discussion of them. Which, alas, I can kind of understand. One grabbed me, but I shall keep this open to speculation. I also think the Ploprof is cool, but only for the right collector.

Ploprof and Planet Ocean are definitely the best looking and coolest of the bunch. The pricing on the Ploprof is ridiculous however. It no longer comes with the “Shark Cage” mesh bracelet…….just a rubber strap.

My local Boutique has/had just about every model. I was prepared to go in and purchase one but in all honesty I was underwhelmed when I saw them in person and completely passed on the PO, AT and Heritage 300.

Most boutiques have them in stock, but they are selling. Tried on the 300 diver, but ended up with the standard black. I already have the blue heritage 300 which I think is one of the most balanced omega's, so purchased a blue anniversay version was up in the air for me and I was not super impressed with the coloring. But with that being said, I think this may be a test for the heritage model to get a ceramic bezel and (gasp) white lume! I would snap that up in black in a second even though I already have a blue one and a sub 114060.

My SA told me they are taking orders but will close them off at some point as they will be a limited run.

Agreed, a black dial heritage with ceramic bezel and white markers would be an easy choice. Especially if it had the finishing quality of the 75th Anniversary heritage I picked up.

Regarding the heritage 75th.. it is definitely unimpressive under the OB lighting. Get it into combinations of sunlight and shade and different light sources however, and the dial really wakes up.

Yep, saw all the 75th anniversary models at two AD's in the Bay Area, CA. Readily available.
