A generous trade for sure, but what does your gut say? If you are asking here, there is something telling you "nope....."

Snoopy is a special watch, but I would do the trade and purchase a new regular speedmaster to replace the hole left by the trade. This would be a fair trade especially if you purchased your snoopy at retail. I have tried to VC on and I find it to be quite comfortable and great to look at. As I am writing this though I have this feeling in the back of my mind that it may be hard to trade a special edition for something that is currently being made but may not be available. It's like losing an irreplaceable vintage car vs a new one that can just be fixed with insurance.

I personally wouldn’t as I think the Snoopy is pretty special. But that’s the great thing about watches, there are so many available to make everyone happy. Do what your heart tells you.

I agree! I’d do that trade in a heart beat. Run don’t walk for that swap before the other guy comes to his senses.

Hype is not part of this. Attention due to looking for alternatives is fair enough but nobody is settling by choosing this product. I wouldn't trade mine for a RO (notwithstanding market values), only add.

I’d never buy a watch without hacking seconds, but I’d do that trade.

Just to be clear, NASA did choose Snoopy as a mascot for the space program, and they had an award called the Silver Snoopy award--which Omega won for saving the lives of the Apollo 13 astronauts.

Do you like the VC? If yes, do it!
Do you like better your Snoopy? If yes, don’t do it!

Watches too different to make a real comparison. VC is definitely higher end, the Snoopy is quite unique in its concept (first Speedy ever with an animated back).

So, get what you like.
