Ablogtowach had a review in the recent past, but with the black dial model for 2023. As with all Sky Dwellers, it is a marvelous piece; however, it was deemed not a good value proposition from the standpoint of the cost. The PM makes it heavier than the SS SD black dial. Additionally, If you manage to get your hands in a Black Dial, and aspire to have the 'Look" of the WG on oysterflex bracelet, it can be done the following way:
- Procure end links that fit the SD SS white or black dial - Procure an Oysterflex bracelet that fits YOUR wrist and the watch lug diameter (Rolex does not sell you an OF bracelet unless you prove that you have a watch that comes with it). - Get a watchmaker that can put the end links and strap on the watch, without damaging it. Some folks in the forum have done just that and end up with the looks of the WG on oysterflex, white or black dial, while saving $20,000 plus dollars. Hope this helps. |

Thanks for the helpful write-up, reviews and tips. So the stainless steel looks exactly the same as the White Gold version? more of just bracelet difference? that is a huge saving if able to acquire the ss model. if pm model nothing special? especially compared to the ss? dial and case looks the same especially with the white gold rolesor fluted bezel? Why did Rolex introduce white gold again? might be something special with current new release 2003 33x release? Thank you
