I bought a 15400 grey (last year, so was discontinued), was told this helped with my allocation of a silver ROC as my first piece from AP House. I know you said RO blue dial, but hopefully this helps!

I have a couple of follow-up questions:

1. Last month, while at the boutique, I had a discussion with one of the newer SA. He mentioned that buying grey doesn't help build history, but it seems that the consensus is that it might indeed help?

2. What's the best approach to inform your SA that you've purchased a 2nd-hand piece? Is it advisable to register online first and then inform them, or the other way around?
