Rolex daytona a question
I have a Daytona that I wear two days a week and after two days it stops working and when I wear it again I have to fill it my question is when I take it off I will open the crown as if to set the watch and then it stops working and I will put it like that in a drawer and when I wear it I will just set the The watch and it will continue to work can it damage the watch?

When you stop the watch movement (hack), then everything stays in tension. While modern metals do not take a set while held under tension for extended periods as readily as earlier metal compositions did, they are still expected to be moving.
I don't see why you are opposed to winding it if you are willing to set the time, it only takes a few more seconds. Personally, I would let it run down.

Winding the watch is actually one of the things I like most about owning a mechanical watch

I have heard that leaving the crown open will allow moisture into the watch possibly. I know there is a double seal but that’s what I was told. Not sure how much it matters with a Daytona.
