14790 Military Dial Opinions?
I am looking to add a RO 14790 Mk1 or Mk2, I don't like the post 2000 dials...
But I found the Military dial, and kinda looks nice... More rugged. What do you think about this dial? Anyone has info on how many were made... can't seem to find much online. I have now a 15550 which I love, but I don't know, after reading APs history, the Jumbo... I really want a quirky monobloc case. I feel it's more "true" to the brand. And my wrist being small, I have seen that this would be the reference to go to. As with other AP, not much info online, so anyone can chime in on their take of a 14790 as a daily? Reliability of the movement etc... Also, anyone knows how much a new bracelet (Stainless) goes for on the 14790? My 15550ST is a blue dial, so maybe I have tapiserie covered with that one? Any input is much appreciated! Now prices should come down a bit more, and I'll pull the trigger. |

In my book the coolest RO there is. Wish it was made in 39mm.
Also trying to pull the trigger on it. Maybe they come down to under 20k. Regards |

This article at least has a brief mention of that "military" dial:
