Iwc - portugieser chronograph year of the dragon

I saw this (online) the other day and it's really growing on me. I added my name to IWCs list, but since it's limited to 1000 it may not happen.

I know regular (modern) Portugieser go for ~$7k used, so $9,350 USD is getting up there.

Thoughts?

Watch looks nice but I would probably change the strap to gatorskin.

Agree. The red rubber strap is fun, and it also comes with a black strap, but for sure I would get a nice padded croc/gator in black or dark brown.

How different is the 40 vs this one at 41? I don't own any IWC, so I'm still learning. I have a larger wrist, so I think the 41 will be good.

Too much Fitzmagic.

I had a white Portugueser. It wore too big on my 6.5 inch wrist. Sold.

Nice looking piece. The dragon rotor is a nice touch.
