On a Rolex — whatever, though I’d be interested to know why they all don’t given the price. Doesn’t seem like that complex of engineering.
On a Royal Oak, from what I can tell, would make a difference given the shape. |

Never an important issue with me; never cared about it.

OK, I checked on my new CPO 116660, the crown is in the 4 o’clock position. Still indifferent.

Out of my four Rolexes two have lucky crowns
Not a deal breaker but it’s a nice touch… it’s too bad all Rolexes can’t be aligned perfectly considering it’s a luxury item. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Had to go look. None of my 3 are. 2 are nearly upside down. Unacceptable!
Anyone want a new BLNR at a discount? It's worthless I say. My IWC was also off, but my Omega Speedy was nearly perfect. To my eyes, about 1.5% tilt from center. Likely intentional. |

From the different watches I owned, they never lined up and it never bothered me.

I'm always taking my BMW back to the dealer because the wheel badges go out of alignment. Why can't they use the Rolls Royce system which keeps the badges the right way up at all times? BMWs are pretty costly these days so having some expectation isn’t wrong.
