Turn-O-Graph with ceramic fluted bezel

Monochrome watches suggests the return of the Turn-O-Graph with a ceramic smoth bezel.
I wonder whether it would be technically possible to produce a ceramic fluted bezel?
Do you like the idea of a Turn-O-Graph featuring a ceramic fluted bezel?
Would it make sense for Rolex?

I think ceramic is too fragile to make fluted. All of the indentations would cause it to be too unstable and falter with pretty much any contact.

I love the turn-o-graph. Hard to imagine it with a ceramic bezel, unless they were bringing back something like the original version, but that looked too much like a Submariner, so I can't see that happening.

How would the bezel need to be any different than a Sub-C?

In other words, get a Sub?

The Turn-o-graph prediction pops up quite regularly this time of the year. Just people throwing darts out there.

Personally, not something that excites me…at all.

The Turn-O-Graph is a niche watch that has had its own consistent design language over the decades and that design language is focused on the bezel. Any form of ceramic bezel would contradict that established design language. My bet is that’s a stretch that Rolex won’t make and if they ever do I hope I don’t live long enough to see it.

My biggest complaint about the TOG bezels of the past was they weren't click bezels, like the sub or GMT.

There was just something not tactile-friendly about the way they turned. In answer to the OP's question, I would prefer the smooth, but it's only gonna matter if it's got clicks.
