We had a couple of gatherings in the year or two before Covid, including an epic wander down Nathan Road from Mongkok to TST, visiting all the watch shops along the way, and ending in the Mariner's Club for a few beers. Not sure how many watch shops still survive, and the Mariner's was sadly demolished. Not sure, either, how much interest there would be these days, under the Covid cloud, etc. The fun downtown atmosphere isn't what it was.

Maybe we should test the waters and try to find a few more to join and set a date! |

Would like to bump this topic, I’m a member of a local club and most of my watch network is on IG, would be interested to help organize a GTG from the forums.

i used to go to hk a lot but stopped due to pandemic. when i visited recently. all i can say is that hk is in a sorry state right now.
once dynamic and bustling now quite lifeless. but i guess that goes with anywhere right now. |

I was in Ocean Park over the weekend and it was kind of empty. It made the experience pleasant... |

I know this is going to be quite offtopic, but I hope someone can help me.
I would like to contact a seller on Carousell.hk, but without a local phone number it seems impossible because I can't even send a message without registering. I have tried to solve this, but so far I have not succeeded, because although I saw that there is an option for a prepaid Sim card, but if I understand correctly, it could only be collected locally, in person. In short, I have tried in vain, so far I have not been successful. Accordingly, I would like to ask if you have any ideas on how I can register a valid account? Thanks in advance for any idea :) |

I have a Carousell.hk account. I can connect you with a seller if you want.
