It’s a real beauty JP, proper vintage vibe in a modern piece.

Thanks all - glad to be back!

The GRNR is definitely one that needs to be seen in person, especially for all the two-tone haters...like I once was!

After seeing your first three watches, all just my style, I had a feeling your new pick up would be too and low and behold I picked up the GRNR last month! Many congrats!

Congrats!!! I’m sure all AD’s are suppose to have very similar set up, but that looks like Fourtane, in Carmel. If not where is your go to in Nor Cal? I’m in San Jose.

Definitely great to see you posting on the forum again--I really enjoy seeing/reading about both--your watches and vacation spots. Please--keep them coming as much as you can.

Seems we have similar tastes. The GRNR is such a great piece, and one that I think people have to see in the flesh to really grasp at how unique and beautiful it is. Very much like the Hulk back when I first picked it up in 2017...didn't care for it until I saw it in person, and then it was like "WOW!".

Fourtane indeed! They're right around the corner for me. Audrey is the best over there.

I agree, Audrey, Josh and the staff at Fourtane are the reason I’m passionate about watches. Josh helped me with a project for a class I was taking as I presented class project on the History of Rolex. Audrey was instrumental in taking the time to educate me on vintage Rolex as well as Josh. Josh pulled out the jacket that came with Steve McQueen’s ND Sub and let me try the watch on, cool experience!!!! Audrey, Josh and the staff at Fourtane are passionate about watches and to me that is the difference between being a SA and someone who is passionate about the brand, from vintage current.

Unfortunately Fourtane is walking away from the Vintage Collection they once showcased to go towards the Rolex CPO program at the request of Rolex. Ask Audrey when she gets back more about it.

Prior shout out to Fourtane:

Congrats and welcome back! I just did the same with the all gold GRNR and it's interesting to hear that you felt the same as me when the watch was released. Initially I was underwhelmed until I saw the watch in person. It has a vintage vibe to it and the jubilee is awesome!
