FS: 1981 Breguet Classique Perpetual Calendar 3050 'Early Example'

Description: Hand on heart the best Breguet Perpetual Calendar I have ever seen. Dating 1981 (sold in 1982 to Chaumet, London) this ref. 3050BA is in outstanding condition, covered in glorious multi coloured patina and comes with the rather eccentric setting pin attached by chain to the watch and housed within the strap.

The case as mentioned is beautifully patina’d, if thats not your cup of tea I would advise you to close this tab now! The lugs are curved, I have seen this on a few models and doesn’t appear to be present only on early models such as this however it gives a wonderful vintage aesthetic, especially when paired with the smooth & simple case-back. There are minor signs of wear but overall preserved superbly.

The English dial is near perfect with only minor signs of age which is very surprising however great to see! Blued hands complement the gold and patina hues + the cabochon on the crown.

The strap is Breguet however the watch also comes with a more modern brown Molequin example. The pusher pin shows 18k hallmarks and is a great talking point when on the wrist, slipped within the strap.

Not a lot more to say here other than it’s one of the early Roth-era perpetuals, handmade and a real value pickup vs modern counterparts (even other brand counterparts form the same 80/90’s neovintage period). I hope this finds a longstanding home to be cherished for the important slice of Breguet history that it is.
