Full transition to new 126500

I’ve had my white dial for a couple months. Got a good deal and convinced my dad to change his black. We both had the 116500LN in the same white and black. The new black pops more than his old one. Probably the chrome rings around the sundials. Also the new black numbers on the subdials are easier to read now and not washed out. One last observation, I think the white writing on the tachymeter is darker on the black model

The black dial’s features really glisten a lot more than the white dial. I’m going to have to bust out my 124060 sub to admire this glossy black and white gold hands and markers more. It’s been neglected lately
It’s not the same. The subdial outer ring gloss is something else.

Stunning pair, they look awesome together

I love my black dial. I think Rolex hit the nail on the head with this 12 ref Daytona, it's going to age like a fine wine.

I’m happy for you and your dad

IMHO the new Daytonas look much more refined than the previous generation.

The new Daytona is sooooooo good. Would love to add the black dial SS to pair it with mine.

Will you and your Dad swap on a night out so to sample the different dial ?
My best friend has just collected his 126 black dial and it’s stunning, I’ve always been white dial but it’s hard to pick one from the 126 range, both lovely looking watches .. enjoy ..

I will definitely borrow his black watch someday. I’ve had it just this one day but will give it to him later today!

Very nice! I have the previous 116519ln silver. It’s only 1 year old and I’m good with it still. The difference between these OF Daytonas is not as different. I do love the new ring and thin indices though. In the steel the thinner rings pushed me over to change. On the OF ghost the differences are much more subtle.

Great pic!

The black 12 is amazingly striking. I think both the 12 white and black are better than the previous 116 series. Saying this as someone who owns white 116

Never noticed the WG aroudn the subdials on the black dial, that is actually a very nice touch! Curious why they skipped on that detail on the white dial.

True. The old zenith white dial had the silver rings around the black subdials
