Incoming Explorer II
Wow. I knew I liked the watch but didn’t realize how much.
Picked this from my local AD a few days ago and it’s better than expected. Such a versatile watch with an absolute beautiful polar dial. I now understand why so many threads comment on how much they this watch. |

Nice! How long did you have to wait? I just got on the list at two of my local ADs and they said it could be a couple years..

Congratulations. It's the watch that got my Rolex illness started and it's not difficult to see why.

Thanks all. I’ve been enjoying the watch all weekend. Haven’t really taken it off. lol.
I’m sure many have different views on this but I’ve been thinking about the purchase and how unexpected it was. I didn’t get a call from my AD, I just stopped by on a random day and was thrilled to wear it out. Really makes me enjoy the journey!! Now what to go for next!?!? Currently have a Datejust Wimbledon fluted Bezel oyster bracelet, IWC Portofino and the Explorer II. The new GMT is amazing but wonder if I want another GMT or try and go a different direction. Skydweller is high on the list as is the new GMT on a Jubilee. |

My concern is I'm intrigued by the polar because it's different rather than it would compete with my other watches. However every time I see it I'm really impressed with the dial. |

Crazy to think how many special "commemoration" type purchases were not able to be fulfilled over the past few years, as customers were turned away due to no stock. Used to be Rolex AD's bread and butter - now it's all wait lists and relationships and games. Your story is so great to hear. Congrats!
