‘70s Lady Date Question

Greetings,

Please pardon any breeches of etiquette, as I am new to this forum.

My question regards a (presumably) 1971 Date Lady Stainless, Jubilee Band. (Serial No. starts with 342.) From the best of my estimation, the dial is silver (composite) with gold “numerals” (indices?), and I believe the bezel to be white gold. Though I will admit that much of this information is anecdotal, and I am no expert. Is there a standardized reference number for such a watch, that I might be able to refer to in my research, and do the material I’ve mentioned sound consistent with Rolex’s manufacturing techniques of the time?

Many thanks to the aficionados out t by ere — any info is valued. Pic is attached.

Heather

This watch is from the 70's most likely.

The bezel would, indeed, be white gold. Early fluted white gold bezels were rhodium covered to be more white initially but did usually wear to the warmer color.

You have a sigma dial as noted on each side of the "swiss" lettering at the bottom which signifies gold indices and hands.

The reference number and serial numbers can be found on the sides under the bracelet ends. These numbers can open up even more information.
