Thank you all! My youngest daughter, 5, is already expressing her interest in the bluesy someday!

I wear all my watches and will wear this one a lot, but being in healthcare I tend to wear something a bit more subdued while at work. I’m sure most patients wouldn’t even notice but the bluesy is harder to keep under the radar than other watches. Adding a BLNR is the goal but I anticipate a bit of a wait. In the meantime maybe an Explorer II or even a YM40 slate dial might be contenders to daily at work.

I agree.

My “Bluesy” is my Saturday night out watch.

At the workplace, I find that my Submariner, or DateJust, or even a Daytona, flies under the radar … anything that is not gold / does not have gold in it.

The older I get, the MORE I LOVE this watch! The Bluesy is so cool in so many ways. Congrats, OP!

Man, I highly recommend just wearing them. I'm an ER RN and own both a 126613LB and 126710BLNR and wear both at work. It's pretty rare that patients ever say anything about them, but if they do it has always been positive. I would say enjoy your watches and wear them as intended.

I suspect you’re right. I wore it all day yesterday and that dial is fantastic. I’m so pleased with its addition into the budding collection. It will get plenty of wrist time. For now, I’m happy and look forward to putting it on when I get home from work and on the weekends.

Cheers to that, as well as the budding collection

It's absolutely a perfect summer watch. I got mine back in December so this will be my first summer with it as well. Anyway, congrats again!

Yes! It’s looks great on a sunny day. Dial changes from a bright blue to a dark blue depending on the lighting.
