I believe this is from the 1960s but don't really have any date references. Any help identifying or dating this would be greatly appreciated.

Well Tudor first started with the small Tudor rose in 1946 then changed to a slightly larger Tudor Rose logo in the very late 1950s-early 1960s.They changed to the shield logo about 1967-1970.Not sure of exact model name but Dennison in this time period made many gold cases for Tudor and even Rolex. And at the time of the small rose logo many Tudor watches were made for UK and commonwealth countries only, model ref number 12102 I would say its most probably late mid 1950s, 15 jewel movement possible ETA calibre 1260 which was a slightly lower grade than the 17 jewel.

Tudor rose inside the shield logo was only used from 1946 to 1947 but that one looks refinished/repainted as there isn't as much detail as would be expected.

Just to add, that 'E' hallmark in the caseback looks like it's from Birmingham (England) 1954, so the dial would be refinished.

Thank you very much - I believe I've narrowed it down to a 1954 'Fifteen' model C79 now.

I think dial refinished too.. rose is too rudimentary - pre 1952/53 swiss made footer looks bit squiffy too.

The East Midlands Gas Board was set up in 1949 and ran until until 1972, so suspect very late 40s / early 50s - 54 as Adam stated on hallmark seems a good shout. These cushions were most popular 1920s -1940s, so very much towards the end of the popularity.
