Small wrist on Sub ND 14060M

I have a 114060 and am thinking of swapping it for a 14060M (4 liner). However I have a very small wrist, about 6.5 inch. Seeking feedback from people here with similar wrist size as to how you size your 14060. Thanks.

I think that’s a perfect swap. You will appreciate the more svelte proportions of the 14060M. Will feel night and day from the 114060.

Sizing is so bespoke to wrist shape. I would start with 5 links at 12 and 4 links at 6 o’clock to start.

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and wear (save for my daytona and 36mm DJ) 5 digit pieces exlcusively. The fit is perfect.

The 14060 will fit a little smaller than the stated 47.5mm lug to lug due to the "hollow" end link articulation - more like 45mm or so.

100% you will be fine! Do the swap!

Also, I wouldn't call a 6.5 inch wrist "very small". Probably about average. It's on the smaller side, but above 6.25 and you're ok. Under 6... yikes!!!

Thanks for the encouragement. What are the number of links of your 14060 at the 12 and 6 o'clock?

It'll be fine. I have a 6 3/4 wrist and wear up to 44mm YMII and DSSD

If you can wear the 114060 you can most definetly wear the 14060 without any issues, it will even feel more comfortable.

I think you will enjoy the ref on the wrist compared to what you were wearing

It'll wear smaller and lighter than your current Sub if that's what you're looking for.

That's a smart play, if the 114060 wears a little large.

Let us know how it goes.

Not sure how much it will bother you, but it's possible that the clasp will sit off center at the bottom of your wrist. The 5-digit references have an extra permanent link at the 6 o'clock side compared to 6-digit references. I have a 6.5" wrist as well, and when I owned a 14060M, I had a permanent link removed to center the clasp on my wrist.

Overall it’ll wear better but you may not get the clasp centred as others have mentioned.

Good decision. I have the same wrist size as you have. My option is 5 links at six and 5 or 6 at 12.

Good point. I had same issue with 5 digit references; clasp not centered. I have small wrists also but prefer modern subs due to GL clasp.
