In Hong Kong, which AD should I visit?

In the market for PM Daytona on Oysterflex.

Any pointers appreciated.

My question is "would you be able to walk-in and get one?"

I believe that Rolex are duty free in Hing Kong, but Rolex AD may take that into account in their pricing. Can anyone shed light on that? I知 staying at the Shangri-La and there is an AD in the mall just underneath the hotel, I値l pay them a visit tomorrow but hopelessly jet lagged this evening after coming in from KL overnight, followed by a full day of meetings.

AD or good pre owned resellers? You can pick up some great finds in Hong Kong

I would think any AD should be fine. Question is whether do they have one on hand for immediate delivery?

Years ago, Hong Kong was one of the cheapest places to buy Rolex, and this was even highlighted in corporate advertising here. Gradually, though, Rolex aligned prices globally so they could take advantage of the no-sales-tax thing, rather than letting their customers benefit. Here's an advert from a 1981 tourist brochure. It's not like that any more.

Just got back 2 days ago. Only two tone DJ, 1908 and PM models available. Went to several of them in Nathan Road and Causeway Bay Area.

Keep us updated after your trip

It would be nice to learn what sort of inventory they have.

VIP Station. Haiphong Road, TST. Ray is great at sourcing used.

Moibotime. North Point, Java Road. Albert is great at sourcing new.

HK is a free port. There are no sales tax, period.

Well that was a disappointment! Went to the AD at the top level of the Pan Pacific shopping Centre in Admiralty. They had less stock than I see at ADs in the UK! They did have two, two-tone Datejusts for sale but that was it. Chatted to the staff, who were very nice but looked bored and I can’t blame them with the lack of product actually available. On to Auckland next, arriving Saturday. Will of course pop in to the AD in hope but no expectation!

At the corner of Pedder and Queens Rd Central, you literally can see 3 AD's all within 50 yards. I am not exaggerating. Also in Causeway Bay, you can find 4 AD's within 10 min walk. You can get rejected half a dozen times in the same afternoon. If you are a mainlander tourist, you might get lucky at one of the TST Kowloon dealers.
