If someone give you a link and you don't know what exactly it is, it could be installing spyware on your phone for all you know.

I’d be happy to own that. I’d just want it authenticated by an independent watchmaker prior to paying for it.

No OP. First Rolex - do it right. The prior owner of this watch apparently set rebar for a living.

Look at Certified Pre-Owned. Generally less money than the resellers and freshly serviced. My SIL just sent his Breitling SuperOcean in and it was $1700 for service.

Not my experience. Rolex certified preown is always the most expensive way to buy preown. And my GMT Master II service was less than your Super Ocean. Assuming the SuperOcean is a chronograph that make sense. But a regular 3 hander are much cheaper to service.

Can you even get a new one from an AD. You are on the right track finding something used in your price range.

Study this forum, screen out the nonsense and be patient.

IMHO, time is on the side of buyers right now

The advice to go to an AD is right. The new model has some significant upgrades including; rock solid bracelet, ez link, 3230 movement, AR coating on underside of glass and warranty.

I don’t think saving 1-2k is worth going pre owned. If you have to have a service done your savings is gone. The new model harks back to the designs of the 1016 very much. It’s epic. It’s not a hard watch to get and most ADs have them for sale.

I’m wearing my 124270 right now bc it’s the most comfortable watch I own and my EDC.

My particular sample is +1s per WEEK! Wild.
