Tudor terminology: Prince = Automatic?

Hi all,
I think I’ve run into something weird…
I always thought that prince in Tudor speak referred to the piece being automatic. Yet here I have a ref 7939 Tudor Prince OysterDate manual wind watch… I’m confused, I’ve never seen another
I can’t seem to size my photo correctly, I can’t upload it.

Interesting, cannot tell if it's something unusual, or redialed. But that should be labeled without Prince

Thank you, you guys are confirming my suspicions. The strange thing is, I got it from a dealer with a very good reputation!
I’m hoping that it’s just unusual? …

looks like redial to me.
Tudor writing is small and thick and doesn't looks right.
other writings looks squished and shock resisting, also, not spaced well
