Getting paranoid with my moser arctic blue

My watch seems to have a huge greyish hue in the middle which appears even more darker gray in different lighting conditions. I can’t seem to find any other pictures online or on this forum of the Arctic blue dial looking this way. So far not thrilled that the dial would be such a lottery and Moser would lack quality control to deliver something that looks nothing like the website.

Without pics its really hard to say anything
Have you reached out to the AD?
Why did you accept the watch at delivery if you weren't 100% happy?

Reach out to the AD or Moser asap. I’m sure one of them will find a way to address this issue.

Yea both are willing to work with me. I am guessing both realize that the watch is indeed defective. I posted a thread on WatchUSeek around the Moser Arctic blue and posted several pictures over there. Indeed it turns out the watch is a dud.

You can post pix at any time if they are sized correctly, you just can’t post links to pix until 10 posts.

I checked out the pix, did Moser QC have a day off?

If you join the Talking time with Tim Mosso Facebook group Edward Melin is on there. A few years back someone posted their artic blue moser on as a wrist shot, Edward noticed straight away that it wasn’t correct and offered to swap the dial for free. Very rarely it happens but with the dials the paint can react in an undesired way and do this

Different timepieces. H. Moser is not a mass-produced Patek, thankfully.

I don't know if it is meant to look that way or not, but it doesn't look good.

That doesn’t look anything like the dials on the Moser website. There is a bit of grey on the website but it’s not nearly as splotchy. I was interested in this piece because it’s 40mm but not if it had that dial.

The color looks alright to me, but it does appear to be splotchy.

I saw one of these up close recently and you’re correct to question it. This is clearly a factory defect of some sort. But I get good and sincere vibrations from their leadership and their dealers and I expect they will be as eager to see you made happy as you are

I agree, something is wrong.

I ended up sending it back to exquisite for a credit. Went with a Rolex instead as not taking any chances with the dial lottery. I guess independent brands still have to learn QC processes which would start to become an issue as they scale.
