Le Mans Winning team Daytona

Did it change recently? But apparently the winners of the race now gets the cerachrom bezel black dial SS version of the Daytona? When did that happen? And is there an article I can read about the year to year, or generation to generation changes to the Rolex watch they give to the winning team?

It's probably easier for me to win LeMans to get a Daytona than to get one from an AD.

The Daytona 24 Hour and motorcycle Daytona 200 races still give Rolex watches to the winners and it has varied over the years. Pretty sure it’s been white dial tutone Daytona for awhile.
The LeMans race probably changes from timt to time.

I believe the Winner of Lemans gets the Stainless Steel version while the winner of the 24hours of Daytona gets the two-tone for the last few years.

Rolex should give the winner a Le Mans WG Daytona, why is Rolex being cheap with the winner. I'm sure they are still producing them and giving them to people who they like or fit their bill.

I feel silly to admit this as a self declared gear head race fan, but I didn't realize there are 2 different 24hr race LOL. I don't have the attention to watch that type of race tbh.

Nothing has changed. The black dial, steel Daytona has always been awarded to Le Mans winners.
