Feedback on Day Date 1803

Hello Folks

Looking for your thoughts on this 1803. The engravings look slightly odd .. as if they were traced over.. especially odd on the 0’s

Serial seems to date it to 1960.

Thanks!

Probably not too helpful as they aren't overly close in serial, click for full size.

The case engravings back in the day could often be a little rough. I’ve seen worse sloppiness.

What’s unusual is the non-lume dial with lumed hands. Perhaps something got switched, or maybe not. Worth investigating.

The numbers look fine. The engravings were made with a pantograph which is why they aren't very sharp or perfect.

Fine for me. I've seen some dreadful pantograph engravings that I believe were original/authentic.
