126710 Rootbeer

I tried on a 126710 Rootbeer today. I must say that it looks stunning. I don’t see many posts about it - not that popular? A fashion piece that won’t age very well do you think?

The correct ref is 126711 and it's a great piece but it's still a two tone which turns a lot of collectors off.

I think you mean a 1CHNR. They didn't make a steel CHNR. have a 5CHNR. Love it. They are great watches.

Absolutely gorgeous watch - but you have to like gold / two-tone - and it really didn't suit my pale skin!

I think 126711 CHNR ( Rootbeer ) is the most beautiful 2 tone watch Rolex ever made .

My wife owns one and loves it but even she’ll agree my 116613LB blows it away.
But as they say, tastes vary.

Great looking watch, think there’s been plenty of love for it on here …

Beautiful piece. It is loved no question. It’s a bit more dressy being two tone but can be worn casually too. I love the watch

Chocolat Noir Rootbeer is my favourite just behind the Pepsi. Waiting on my AD's call on the rootbeer

It is very nice and much less common that the BLRO and BLNR. Looks great on brown leather also.

I much prefer the CHNR over the BLRO or BLNR…but two tone isn’t for everyone.

Also, the brown tone of the bezel often appears more of a deep red/maroon in pictures but it’s not…which also turns off some.

Great pictures and feedback. Do you think the whole GMT line are due for an update soon? Getting rid of the maxi case and turning to 41 mm?

Just picked up a 126711CHNR 2 weeks ago. I was initially hesitant about the two tone, but after trying it on a couple of times, all my concerns went away. It's a stunning piece and the best two tone rolex makes IMO. the everose blends really well with my skin tone and doesn't stand out as much as i thought it would. I wear it with shorts and a t-shirt all the time, it doesn't have to be dressy

Great - you addressed some of my concerns. I love the look of it, but was afraid it was to much bling making it a more niche watch...

Exactly this. I bought it blind one year ago. Never saw it before in real life. I was blown away. It is a beautiful piece.

The Rolex GMT-Master II 126711CHNR, also known as the "Rootbeer," is indeed a stunning timepiece. It's not as popular as some other models in the Rolex lineup, but that doesn't necessarily mean it won't age well or hold its value. The Rootbeer's unique color combination and the fact that it's not as widely seen might actually make it more coveted by collectors down the road.

I had the opportunity to buy one a few years back, but I was struggling with owning a TT watch, I just couldn't get my head round this issue so passed on the watch.

A big mistake, one I would reverse if the opportunity arose and the funds become available.

Having the TTSD has made me realise how great a TT watch is.

126710 Rootbeer

The gold and brown are an unattractive combo.

It will continue to have a niche following but not sure it will ever be a really desirable GMT.

The CHNR is probably the prettiest GMT in the current line up
