A strange trip to my first Patek - 6007G

For awhile, I've been thinking about acquiring a 6119R. So I finally called the closest PP AD. The store manager asked that I visit the store in person to register my interest in a 6119R.

I had Friday off, so I made the 2-hour trek to the PP AD. They did not have a 6119 in the demo case, but I did get to try on a 4947/1A, 5320G-011 and lastly a 6007G-001.

I actually liked how the 6007G fit and also liked the pop of color and texture. Compared to the 6119R, I could see myself wearing the 6007G for both work and casually.

To my surprise, the store manager said that if I was interested in it, I could purchase it that day. Fortunately, I have a wife who is understanding of my watch addiction and I went home with the 6007G.

Beautiful! Very versatile and youthful piece. And the yellow variant really pops and gives a positive vibe, as yellow always does.

Having a wife who supports the addiction is definitely a big plus haha
Congrats on your new watch…I have a 6119r that I love but think you made a great choice. This is definitely more versatile

I just helped my friend get this with the blue accents as his first Patek.

Congratulations, the 6006/6000 have not faced such attraction in the past. These versions seem to have met a wide audience, especially when seen in the metal. Very nicely finished with a casual appropriate style. Each year, people are a little quick to judge during official launches (the same was true for the 5212, among others). Enjoy it well :)

I love this, no AD games, no waiting list, just a watch that is available straight away.

Very nice. The yellow looks great. Might be my favorite of the colors on this model.
