I think discounts from authorized Cartier dealers are possible for some references, but perhaps unlikely for other references. A couple of years ago I purchased a Tank Must XL Auto at a nice discount from Radcliffe in Maryland. Contact me if you want the name of the person I worked with there.

Even much less than 10 years ago....

Was not long ago I recall threads where people were getting "tax" off and such.

If you are talking more in the >10% range, not gonna happen. If it does tho, DM me the dealer ASAP because I've been looking to add a Santos to my rotation.

Why not go secondary market? Cartier can be had a fair bit under msrp when buying used.
