Am I imagining or the 321 and Snoopy are now very easy to get?
Did Omega tricked us with the Snoopy limited availability? It seems that now, right before the Snoopy is about to be discontinued, everyone is getting one. Was that a marketing strategy? Create a hype for 4 years of limited production, raise prices, and then let everyone get one in the last year of production? I have the feeling that something similar is going on with the 321. What do you think?

I think they both remain hard to get. If one thinks otherwise go to OB or AD and find out.

I bought my 321 at the only boutique in Canada, but I got tired of waiting so I went private for the Snoopy. I most recently inquired about the 3 weeks ago and the SA I work with said the wait list for the Snoopy is 400+ deep and that he didn’t want to add me to the list only to disappoint. Take that for what it’s worth |

I got my 321 within a week of asking around Dec, and I got my Snoopy three weeks ago. Maybe they are getting easier to get.
Maybe the 321 has limited demand (it is an enthusiast’s watch after all), and thus even though its production is limited maybe the demand-supply equilibrium shifted to those who would be willing to pay for it? And as for the Snoopy, maybe as it comes to the end of its run (50th anniversary+4 years now), maybe they are clearing remaining supply before the next Snoopy comes out? Obviously all speculation, but it does seem easier to get them … |

Good on ya, Brian. I have not been brave enough to pull the trigger on a grey piece.

Is it confirmed that this is Snoopy’s last year?

Where can I walk into an Omega boutique now and get a Snoopy?

I agree, I held off until now but figured even IF the Snoopy is a continuous run for many more years, the likelihood of me getting one from the Vancouver boutique is quite low. The premium here is about 4.5-5 k over retail, and that’s the lowest I’ve seen. Could they go lower … sure. The way my brain works … it’s $16300 now from the boutique with tax. If you add 5% price increase per year for the next 4 years (waiting time) you’re looking at $20700 new from the boutique which is pretty much what they are on the gray market now |

Ah, yes, makes perfect math rational. However, the missus doesn’t see it that way.

I had an OB rep call me out of the blue and invite me to some event. I asked on the spot for an EW321. The response? ‘“I’m afraid that’s impossible right now”

Nashville watch has a 321 listed at $17k, with a little negotiating you’re pretty much at retail!

Ref Snoopy - My humble theory is that they will clear the lists at the OB's, collect peoples money and discontinue It's a business after all

This is exactly what I am thinking. Keep production low at the beginning to create demand and then crank it up and sell even more. This explains why the abandoned limited editions - what they are doing now is even more profitable. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

is the 321 a daily wearable piece? The snoopy is a more modern movement? Does that matter?

IMO It's only "easy" to get if you're paying retail. If you're paying above retail then it's not easy.
