Not surprised at eBay to be honest, but that is crazy for PayPal. Or actually, I'm not surprised there either. They are terrible on that account too.
Note that if you lose the credit card dispute, you can actually file it again with your credit card. After a 3rd chargeback, it actually goes to an arbitrator to for a final review who looks at all the documentation. So all that to say, don't roll over on this. Fight until you get your money back. And take solice in the fact that if you win the chargeback, eBay actually pays a fee as well. Nothing in the grand scheme, but I like to think a little justice haha.

Thank you. I didn't know that I could re-open the dispute with my CC if they don't rule in my favor. I appreciate the advice!
