187 g with the shown bracelet for 7.5" wrist.

Great review! Thank you. Just picked up my SD43 a couple of weeks ago & I’ve been wearing it as my daily. It’s a beautiful watch & it wears comfortably on my 7.5” wrist.

Rolex really knocked it out of the park slimming the lugs down on the “12” series. Makes them wear soo much better, imo.

It is the best Rolex I have owned. I have had several variations of Submariners, Seadwellers and a Deepsea, and this is the best of them all. I dive recreationally and used to dive Professionally.

The first time I found it a little big and heavy on my 6.75 inch wrist, but in retrospect it was because the bracelet wasn't sized properly. I removed the diver's and now keep it more snug. Because this is a bigger watch, the way it's sized and worn is even more important than smaller watches, especially on wrists 7 inches and under.

Loving it now and find it very comfortable. Great wrist presence. You get used to the heft. Just a lot more interesting and special compared to the Sub.

Side note: Don't get caught up in the MK1 or MK2 dial debate. Keep in mind that Rolex never called this a "50th anniversary" model. That's a made up Internet watch thing. So whether you bought the watch in 2017 or 2023 or in between is irrelevant, IMHO. And what about MK1 dials purchased in, say, 2018 or 2019? How are those considered 50th anniversary watches?

Rolex did promote it that way at the Basel launch in 2017.

Good review.

This is the only watch I wear, and is my absolute fave...
