I don’t care about the names.

This variant looks incredible, personally one of my favorites. I’d buy for sure

It's come to a pretty pass that the only thing Rolex fans can get excited about these days is tiny little dial variations. And the level of excitement is out of all proportion to the variation on offer. Wow, a green dial, wow a different bezel, wow coloured circles.
Well, this is nothing new, collectors have frothed over nuanced details since forever. If you think this is bad, you should see the Omega Speedmaster pages…….

This is the black dial version on oysterflex.

It’s an age thing, old people usually confused, the watch you’ve shown is a beauty but if you always wanted the silver ghost dial might be worth holding out for, or at least try on see what you think …

I would buy instantly. Funny enough I really wanted this black dial but was offered the steel dial (ghost) instead. I love it. These new OF models with glidelock are absolutely unreal.

Because this forum has knowledgeable members who could provide insight that would otherwise be missed.

You don't always get what you want
But sometimes
You get what the AD gives

Because of the lack of anything else to talk about.

Dial variations isn't horology. Look at what other brands are doing.

It is a great watch if you can afford it and have a smaller wrist.

The only grief I have towards PM Daytonas is a rather poor legibility of the dial. Takes half a second more to understand what time is it. On the other hand it is extra half a second you are enjoy looking at your watch.

You surely mean pay the AD for something he offers ..
and there’s a choice to make, I certainly wouldn’t settle for anything I didn’t 100% want … but each to their own …

I like the black dial over the silver, that is probably my favorite OF Daytona variant.

Tu are right. Ghost is silver panda dial with black subdials. OP was offered the reverse black panda or the Baby Le Mans.

It’s not up to you to decide what other people find interesting or not I’m afraid. Like it or not, people will debate and discuss over subtle details between Rolex models and references more and more from here.

For me, it’s the fact these details are small and nuanced that make it interesting. But that’s just me.
